Are vermin in breach of contract by takin money from my account ahead of the due date? They been at this a while anything from 2 to 5 days. Just found this out yesterday. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR REPLIES

DD rules state they can take later but not earlier.

It's very unusual to have a DD taken earlier.

What date did the bill advise and what date was it actually taken?

i find that the bank will take money out of account to pay dd before due date depends on what date dd is due,ie say weekend or holiday etc,but will not go into vm till day due or nearest day after.or say dd is due 4th month and is holiday etc,vm will mark your statement due on 6th but bank may deduct say 2nd or 3rd.hope this helps,but will not pay vm till 6th,even though money deducted look at your online banking it will then mark as dd 6th,this is banks way of making sure dd money is available for dd,in case you spend over holiday etc,and not enough to pay dd,and you will get a non dd payment charge.ray.

the due date was 21st of every month, but they were takin it on average 2 days a head. I get the point ray makes, except virgin media staff in formed me that they where debiting amount early , not the bank as ray says covering wk ends and or holidays. I'm still lookin for my contract as we were supposed to be gettin free evening n wk end calls , we never did . we only found this out recently cuz i actually used the phone recently and it showed up on the bill. I would just like to add they offered me 20mg broadband and wk end calls for ?37. mth. dick really is in space isn't he. Cheeky b######s

As I said clem it's very unusual for a DD to be taken early and in contravention of the DD indemnity guarantee.

Someone in the billing department needs to be investigating if you bill says the 21st and the funds are debited on the 19th?

I plan on gettin rid of the tv package in May, i have already queried the debit question all I've had to date is an opology , think i might use this to my advantage. They offered me 20mg bb and weekend calls for ?37.50 a mth. Just goes to show the contempt the bransons of this world have for the average joe. That was despite telling the agent i could get that n better for less than ?25.00 I think vermin bb is the best that may keep me with them.
