Keys rolled?

Just turned the box on for the first time today and all my none FTA channels are black, I'm assuming that the keys have rolled but not heard or seen anything saying they have.

Anybody got any info?

reboot the box...keys roll all the time.

If it was working yesterday, just needs to be rebooted.

Aye, rebooting was the first thing I tried, and reloaded the cam, but still nothing, gonna grab the nagraroms etc again and update those.

, just spotted the date on the file.

Nope it hasn't been offline since then. The only thing I did last night just before bed was do a scan as I was missing a couple channels. It found them all fine so I thought it was ok and went to bed, might be that.

Shouldn't affect keys.

Go to sky sports 1, press MENU > SHUTDOWN > reboot now

When it reboots, flick to Sky sports 2, wait 5 secs, flock back to sky sports 1, leave it there till it clears.

Will give that a go in 10 mins or so, doing another scan now so don't want to stop it

For future, a scan only stores the channels on your box, so if you're missing a channel or a channel has moved frequency, you do a scan to being it back.

If you have the channel but it's blank, that's a key problem. If you go to the channel and it gives you an error, i.e. channel not available, then it's moved frequency and you need to scan. If it's simply a black screen, it's a key or rom issue.

My box stopped working for no reason. I haven't seen any updated keys. When searching for a channel a window comes on saying information being updated but nothing happens.
Any advise??????

@chorizo, do you have the latest firmware running on your box? What is 'my box'?

If not, you will need to enter the keys manually. You should be used to this as it's been the case since November.

If you have the latest firmware, reboot the box and see if it updates.

I have a starview box but stopped working 3 hours ago. The only thing that I did was to scan for some channels that I was missing, after 1 hour the box stopped working. Has any one experienced similar thing. Any advise will be welcome.
