eurovox ex1000sl if you're looking for something easy to use. It's good but not the best -
There is no such thing as the "best box". It depends on what price you are willing to pay, what features you would like it to have etc etc.
Plug and play boxes are very easy to set up and do exactly what they say on the tin. My preference out of these types of box is the kryptview and digivox. Both are to this point very well supported and they replicate the vm channel ordering. They auto sort all your categories but allow you to add your own if you wish.
My own preference is the dreambox. A little touch more difficult to set up but hardly rocket science. Its open source so stand a significantly better chance of being useful if and when vm change to N3.
All boxes imo represent excellent value for money.Comment

the eurovox ex1000sl is only a few months old so firmware will get updated when vm **** the codes up. I have a friend who has one and it does the job and is easy to use. Can't really comment on Starviews cos I've never had the need to buy one since I've always been happy with the eurovox. Starview may be better I couldn't say but you won't go wrong with a eurovoxComment

yes you get all the channels. as for patching, you will need to update the firmware whenever vm knacker up the codes, which happens about once every 6 months or so. When they simply roll the codes the eurovox will update them automatically, providing it has the latest firmwareComment

sproson most boxes handle key rolls on the same basis. no one knows how often they will need "patched". the chances are if one box gets hits most others will follow. s`view boxes are ok. personally dont think there is a huge difference between them and the vox boxes although if i were to pick one out of these two i would personally choose the vox.
the most robust boxes are original modified vm boxes with a mosc card that has a blocker image on it. i have one that has worked flawlessly for well over 2 years. again though this is slightly trickier to master (still not "difficult" though).
you get all channels with all the boxes.
i wouldnt spend a lot of money get whats cheap.Comment
