Help with signal strength

Hi

I have a quick question. I have recently moved into a new flat and have been using the dbox no probs for a few weeks now. Now i got broadband from Virxxx and they its sent down the same cable as the dbox channels.
The problem is i tried using a spilter and is doesnt work. I got good one from work.. it doesent work. The broadband will but not the dbox. Thebox keeps saying poor signal strength.

Any ideas

try using a signal booster on the cable to your dbox, I had the same problem so i bought one from a local gadget shop for around 10 pounds and it worked a treat. And after about 8 months still works fine.

I would go for the booster too

I had the same sort of prblem running2 boxes, using a bosster let them both work really well
