    Help??????????????????????????

    Just tried to flash Digivox - did not get as far as bar coming up just hung after turn off and on - now box does not power up - is it all over??????

                Digivox XL usb

                Hi, I have just joined the forum. I have just received my Digivox XL usb box. Loaded the software with no problem. Everything looks good with the exception that it will not record to a USB hard drive. Selecting record brings up the caption to turn on subtitle. I assume that this is a software problem. Can anybody suggest a fix. Toplins

                    latest digivox xl usb firmware is v1.04 for uk and irl.i believe the recording issue needs a fix and is not working like the starview 4 usb.

                                Just got one of these boxes at the weekend, appears to be working OK. Are there any do's and dont's I should be aware of to keep the box working. (Sorry bit of a newbie here!)

                                                        Why upgrade firmware?....

                                                        Hi All - neewb here!

                                                        Just wanted to know if its worth updating firmware.

                                                        Currently running 1.03 which works okay i guess, i havent tried recording to usb device yet

                                                        So will i need to update my firmware and is it really worth it - will my box still work afterwards and what are the benefits of updating?

                                                        Also do you have to reload the epg everytime your box is turned off?

                                                        Does anyone have any ggod tips on how to set their box up for more enjoyable viewing? (can get quite annoying when you change the catergory to movies and try putting in ch 101 etc - get channel not found) i know it sounds petty but i cant get used to box!
