Hi guys, am new here, I have just purchased a digivox XL USB receiver which i should be receiving tomorrow. I am trying to download the firmware from this website so i am not rushing tomorrow.What are peoples views on this receiver? If the picture quality good? Also With the PVR functions can you view things back on your pc?

i have bought a digivox xl usb and cant seem to flash it using

win xp / pc
rc cable

it starts as normal and then just says failed flash on com1

any help would be good thanx

OK,,, can i use this download for a non usb digivox xl ? ive downloaded it and EVEN read the "read me" but it does say only for the usb model,, i have an rs232 lead and will need to use this... my head has exploded at least 6 times today so any help would be gratefully recieved....

No the firmware file on page 1 of this thread is for the USB version only. It is important that you use the correct firmware for the exact model you have.

u need 2 post once then wait about 15 mons for server 2 update

just picked up a box today, the guy i got it off had them in stock, was even kind enuf to flash it for me.

one thing that concerns me is that one of the channels warns me that i am using a pirate box etc, is that warning for real or just to scare people, can the cable provider find out that im using a flashed box

its there to scare m8 just ignore it, or phone the number and shop yourself . it is streamed on the line but only the dodgy boxes pick it up and not the legit boxes
