How do I get Box Key for Subscription card to insert into new CAM?

A mate of mine has got himself a Dragon CAM to use instead of his service provider's Sagem IDT60 cable set top box. He is having problems getting the boxkey sorted out. Now the original STB has a 12 digit serial or box number which the service provider uses but the CAM takes 16 digits. I understand that if you put in the box key correctly into the CAM that the subscription card should work. The idea is to get the card working with the cable feed straight into the TV giving us no loss in quality through additional scart connections!

Does anyone have any idea what is needed to get the subscription card to work with the CAM?

Thanks in advance for all your help,

    Banjo.

He is talking about a Chorus MMDS STB Benny and sorry to say we cannot help out on that here, regards attaining an IRD/BKD from a subbed box.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas Adams
