Will my tv have free view built in?

Bought a 40 inch led tv in February. Have scanned for channels using aerial that was already in house.
Channels 1 5 came up very blurry. Will my tv have built in free view?
Already have virgin media in living room but would like to watch other tv in sun room.

Can't remember what tv said. I thought they all had built in free view these days?
Was thinking of buying a digital aerial for in house at Argos. Failing that I will probably look for a digisender on eBay.

Bought it this year, 40 inch led tv.

Away at present so don't know model.

As tv cost 500 brick I assume or assumed it would have built in free view.

Of course it will have freeview tuner, it will also have an analog tuner... Your TV's manual will tell you how to tune it in..

It must have tuned into analogue as the picture quality was terrible. Would I need to buy a digital aerial?

if tv has 2 tuners the setting may have to be changed in the menu settings.

I will have another look tomorrow. Last time I tryed to scan for channels I selected analogue and digital and only analogue brought channels up, 1 to 5 which were very poor quality.

Your signal to TV is too weak then, you'll need a better outdoor TV aerial.

one will be with cable provider, other with an aerial for digital signal.
Freeview / Home / Resolutions / About Channels / Retuning / How do I retune my digital box / digital TV?

No point in buying an analogue tv. Digital switchover will be complete by end of 2012, my 3 yr old daughter knew that.
