    Signal Connecting then Disconnecting

    Hello,
Got a Digivox-T(Ch*rus MMDS) a month ago, flashed it,emu to on everything working fine(over 100 channels)

Last couple of days i've lost sky sports 1,3,extra and others breaking up
Sky sports 2 working fine(250 MHz)

On manual scan at 298MHz(sky sports) the signal is there but then disconnects, connects then disconnects again and again
    Level 83%
    Quality 43%

Tried factory reset, powered off at back, rescan, emu to on and set default key and exit out let it update but didn't work
    Also re-flashed the box

Should I buy new power supply, aerial amplifier or rent out a ladder and re-align the aerial

Funny thing is Ch*rus were up on neighbours roof re-aligning their dish a few days ago coincidence?

    Anyone any ideas?

Was the neighbour having the exact same problems - with a legit box?

Certainly sounds like a signal issue thats for sure. You could buy an aerial booster and try that. If it doesnt work get a refund and then get your aerial realigned.

Ya neighbour has legit box but my next door neighbour has box-T and his signal is fine on all channels

      Was reading this thread

According to the guy on that thread old ch*rus aerials like i have don't work properly with the power supply i have
      MMDS Power?::?Terrestrial Receivers?::?Skywonder Ltd

Do you know where to get one of the good power supplies the guy has on that thread?

Would an aerial booster get the signal to lock at the moment its connecting and disconnecting?

          Hi Chris,
Do you think that would work better than the one i have
          24V 325mA

It should i had the same problem .Signal kept getting lost, went down to local aerial supplies and got one of the triax. They are used on the ordinary aerials to recieve the standard channels, but i have an old aerial and it worked you might need a proper power supply 350mA to supply the downconverter.but it sounds like a power supply problem. Check the Rf connections on you cable making sure no brade is touching the core

Thanks Chris ya tried a few cables.

Did you need a proper power supply 350mA to supply the downconverter or just the triax one?

              What box you using?

Ive a digivox T m__s.I went and got a triax and cured the problem cause i had one of them power supplies and went faulty.i just tried it cause mine broke on a saturday at around 4 o clock and it would have took me 2-3 days to get a 350 mA supply.has worked for last 4 months. The triax is a coax plug type instead of Rf type But as i said it has a smaller mA and it might not work for you depends on aerial.all you can do is try it they cost around 12 euro if dont work bring the supply back and get a original one .hope it will cure it for ya

                          Thanks for your help Chris

Went into town today and bought a power supply Antiference Pro Series 12V 100mA

Signal now locked and quality on poorer channels gone from 40% up to about 52%

                          All channels working fine
