Cable TV - Advise me please

long term dreambox user back in the day....stopped using the cable dreambox when they stopped letting us watch premium channels...maybe couple years back...

anyway whats the deal with cable these days? any boxes work? can any boxes pick up dodgy channels etc?

one other thing, i have a legit tivo in one room, can i buy another tivo and hook it up to existing cable output in other room? or will that defo not work?

it will work but only freeviews, the box and card need to be paired by vermin to get sub channels, unless u go down the c/s route? thats up to u..chris...

if i hooked up one of my old dreamboxes will i be able to pick up basic freeview?

Yes, but what Virmin regard as freeview is not the same as what others regard as freeview.

Most BBC channels are freeview on Virmin, not all ITV channels are though, also add to that other channels that are free on Terestial, but not free on Virmin....

Does your old Dreambox have a C tuner though?
