Who watches TV

Who actually watches the TV , or are you here for the hobby and like to mess around getting your STB to work and play with ?

I only watch the footie, therefore the missus has the remote 80% of the time, i prefer to learn, and try different things sometimes spending the whole weekend getting it to work something like the way i want it, only to find a new thing to try 2 days later

It seems like a viscous circle and once you get into it , it has you hooked.

just the footy and boxing here ,missus has remote till about ten watching shiitte then moans that all i do is sit on pc

barely watch the thing.

watch the football and ppv boxing events but very little else. any film that i want is downloaded and viewed long before sly or virmin make them available.

When I'm on the PC (which is pretty much all the time ) then I have a music channel on, usually MTV Dance, or the Dog Whisperer.

My missus watches crap like east emmerdale street i prefer to learn and find reading on forums more interesting . Does that make me sad the wife says so ...lmao and soaps are dead mature and so interesting

Like most others I just watch the sport, and like Devilfish I watch the dog whisperer. At all other times it is either the missus or my daughter who has control of the remote.
I prefer to listen to the radio or put on a cd.
I only mess with the box if it is broke, and so far all seems to be working OK.

kids have a 500 for cbeebies & nick jnr (almost everything else locked) another 500 and a 7020 in living room for soaps (the wife) footie & 24 (me) all with cables ran back to my office so there is no pullin out boxes to update, in office there are 2 desktops, 2 lappys and an ex subbed box where i watch watever the fcuk i want witout any interuptions

All i watch is the football, dont get chance to watch anything as the mrs has all the soaps on everynight
and when she's not watching her crap my 2 year old daughter is glued to peppa ~~~~in pig ffs

I never watch tv, just footie, boxing, formula1, the odd cricket match and thats it..
After that im on the satellite box which is 3million times better..i have full control over that..
When im not on the cable box then its always on, cartoon channels..
