Pace Pin Code Activation

Hey, I have a fun card but when trying to watch particular channels I would require a pin code but the option isn't coming any ideas on how to activate it?

hey bugaloo it's a Pace box the old black ones? it went crazy couple of weeks ago and now it works this is the new problem!

Vinit not sure i understand your post but this may help.

if you reset the pin you will also need to reset the net id.

1) remove lid of the box with power switched off;
2) remove red jumper (piece of red plastic sitting on two prongs);
3) leave it for a minute or so;
4) boot up the box but hold down the up and down buttons and this opens the engineers menu;
5) enter the 4 digit number you want using the remote;
6) press services on the box to store;
7) reboot the box and let it boot up.

However once you remove the red jumper you then need to reset the net id. i can send you a tutorial how to do this if you send me a pm with a valid email addy. i am away within the next half hour for most of the day though and may not be able to pick this up until tomorrow.

Hey thanks for that I done it and it worked didn't require no net ID but another problem I have been getting is that the volume and mute buttons don't work on the remote .. although it shows things changing it doesn't really change anything.. Sorry for the late reply haven't had the internet for a while =( .. Thanks again!
