    Complete noob needs help!

    Hi all,

    Have been looking round the site and am learning a few things - but I'm lost as to what receiver I'm using....All I can tell from the box is that it's a Scientific Atlanta 4200DVB - there doesn't seem to be any reference to it anywhere. Forgive me if I'm an idiot but can someone help me out? (Someone said it was a Eurovox). How do I find out? Any advice would be much appreciated.....

    Thats a subbed receiver you would get from VM, one of the newer type STB's certainly not a eurovox. What exactly are you wanting to know...

    Yours,

    Eurovox,

        Don't mean to be a pain - just trying to learn....Subbed receiver? STB's?....

        I want to know how to connect to the box and explore - can I do that through my hub?

        Ps. Thanks for the prompt reply.

            @scouser

            Krypton and jbvid are trying to tell you that if you have a VM box you will not get any information about hacking it on this forum as that would be against the forum rules

            If you haven't already read the rules then just click on this link below to read them
