digivox problem ?

i have a digivox xl,and im in ireland , when i try to enter codes , it will not save working codes , i know i should not be asking for codes on this site , and im not , i just have a problem with saveing them , and cant work out why when i press ok to save them , and exit out , why they wont work , and they are up to date , and the emu is on , and the cable provider is the right one , thanks for your time and help , ranger .....

ranger i take it your not an area of ireland that has just switched to nagravision 2 and 3? that could be your problem.

if you have the latest image on the box you shouldnt need to update codes - thats why i am wondering whether you are now n2/3. try going into cas (secret) menu and choose option "reset default key" or something like that. then let it update.

as far as i can gather only the kv arnet successfully streams the n2 channels thanks to a software update. no other box to the best of my knowledge has brought out a fix. hopefully i am mistaken and someone can help further.

hi bugaloo41, thanks for your reply , yes im in dublin , and that has being hit by nargravision 3" but only 5 channells have being blocked , i have a eurovox as well as the digivox, and have over 150 channells on the same cable line , on the eurovox , its just that i cant find firmwear, for the digivox xl Irish " version "can get for the uk box , but if i put that in , the box will go to (child lock )

this wont allow you to pick up n3 channels though. not too bad though if you are saying only 5 channels are missing. i saw a few posters on here last week and i got the impression it was worse than that.

thanks bugaloo41, it is a black digivox xl useing a rs232 port , i only have 5 channells on the (digivox) the other eurovox , is fine , the link that you gave me for the firmware , takes me to ( windows file association ) i can never find any file on that web site, have tryed lots of times for firmware files there , but cant find them , thanks for your time and help ...

having said u only have 5 channels sounds like emu not on,and 141/140 channels u get on scan,and around 12 channels with changed encryption.all forums will have v1250 as it has been out 3 months.
