Help needed please.
Hi everyone.I am new to this forum so please forgive me if i make any spelling mistakes or sound rude. i have this cable box which is :The Box" with API ver 4.51e_E, Boot ver 7.0, Jul 2007. I have lost all my FTA channels.I am not sure how to reprogramme it to get everything back.I have got a RS232 cable with usb converter as i have a PC which is on Vista Ultimate.i did try to reprogramme it using GTROM4 and it automatically sets the cable on COMM PORT 3.Then in the model section the box automatically sets to GCR3510.Then when i click start downloading.It says Downloading and it stays at 0% for about 30 seconds and then there is a note which pops up saying Flash System Fail.Please could someone help me or give me a step by step gudance on how to reprogramme it and get my channels back.I am really sorry about my terminology.
