Can anyone tell me were I can find the latest firmware or update codes for the above box, as my mate is crying as he cant access the sports channels? Also instructions of how to update if possible?

    Thanks

Would the firmware update be from this link here?

I get some channels (movies) but not everything. Also does anyone know the password for factory defaults as I've tried 0000, 1234, 1004 but it doesnt seem to do anything when I enter the password.

You beauty. "I would kiss you if I was funny like that"

1668 worked superb. Now let me see if a rescan might fix some of the channel issues.

The actual box is named DigiVox at the front. It's an all silver colour with just the black glass where the channel display upper is. So looks like the soon I pick up an RS232 I would be sticking this Digital Kaos - Downloads - Digivox V4300 firmware on right?

Oh also one more question, is there any benefit in auto scanning any other supplier. (any hidden channels?) Coz after the reset I only scanned my supplier which I believe is C&W according to the box that I've seen on the wall.

it is a null modem cable you need, has your pc got a serial port same as back of box and running xp,and yes v4300 for you.you need to scan your provider from main coaxial feed no splitters or extensions.

Can get my hands on using a pc with the same port as the one on the digivox. Unless if I'm wrong but the port under the keyboard/mouse port on this mobo is right I'm sure.

Yeah I used auto scan on c&w and looks like the majority of the channels are working. (havent had a look @ the zorn yet)

Only if you could see the actual digivox itself.

Getting 303 channels. Think I'm missing anything?

Also picking up null modem cable from that famous auction site as I'm no rush for the minute as things seems to be still working ok. (If it aint broke and all that)
