    Digisender for cable.

    Evening all,
I've got a Virmin box in a bedroom and want to know if there is a simple way to use it remotely in my bedroom. I looked into getting a Digisender a couple of years back but never did. If I remember correctly it was only the Digisender Gold which was capable of doing this at the time. Is this still the only way to do it without the need to lay miles of cable ? I've seen posts for Kryptview etc. but not for VM. All I want to do is get a picture that I can change without all the hassle.
    Hope someone can help,
    Best wishes, Craig, Nottingham.

If you're using VM box with a scart output then you could use a basic Wireless AV Sender I suppose, or HDMI output through a HDMI splitter then into a Wireless HDMI sender.

If you've got terrestrial TV aerial cabling use the RF output and send the rf signal up that. Then have a look on fleabay for an infra-red sender.

Sorry for the late reply. I have a choice of two, Scientific Atlanta or Samsung (both V+ boxes).
          Best wishes, Craig, Nottingham.

Im pretty sure all the old VM boxes that had an RF Output socket on it was useless, its disabled, meaning even though its there it cant be used...

Like I said, buy a Wireless AV Sender, it couldnt be any simpler..

Bought a 5.8ghz set of fleabay. I haven't tried it properly yet but it will change channels with the Samsung plugged in in the other bedroom. Will have to position them for best picture but not brilliant at the moment.
              Best wishes,Craig,Nottingham.

Depends what you're connecting it too... You gotta realise that the cheap Wireless AV Senders output a Composite Video signal to the TV, which doesnt look too bad on an old CRT telly, but on a modern large screen HD telly it will never look all that good, but most people find it acceptable enough on an occasionally used bedroom TV...
