I just press the audio button and 2 options come up, I swap to the one I'm not currently on and ok it and audio desc is gone.

This may work however it is for the dbox but try settings. Maybe

          Select "settings menu".
          Select "key binding setup".
          Select "TV/Radio mode".
          Select "set to none".

Go back through the menu's until you can press the red button to save your settings.

You should now find that channels which display the green key option under the EPG info banner, will allow you to change audio channels
