starview4 vs kryptview

Hi all i currently have a starview4 great box no probs ,i am looking at getting another 1 im told the kryptview is by far better can any1 confirm this ,is loading software as easy as the starview and how is it done ,is it as easy to set up, and thanks for any help you give me

most of these boxes do the same thing. the sv box is good the kview box is better. if you are in the market for a new one you wont go wrong with this box. imo no plug and play (questionable whether any box matches it) matches the kview - the support is superb.

set up is similar although it wont be via usb - you will flash via null modem. its simple.

trever i have the kryptview and i find it an excellent box....

very well suported like bugaloo said....

I find the SV4 2 be a bit tempremental .

the most important is u dont loose channels like you do with a sv4.... u only need 2 put the krypt on standby to get them bak..

where with the SV4 u need 2 rescan box all the time..

thanks very much guys i think by the sound of it its krypview all the way i will get the krypt ,also if in time vm change to nag3 i read on here the krypt will be the last to stop working as its ok on nag2 as cc have to have nag2 before nag 3 ,great guys thanks

starview 4 updating

hi all im deano , just brought a new starview 4 usb box and plugged it in and i seem to be getting all the channels when i autoscan but can only view the channels which u dont have to pay for , i no ive got to download something but as im a novice at the moment it seems a bit hard so can anyone please advice on this and what exactly have i got to download and where from ? thx for any advice or help from anyone who answers my post . thx again.

press menu on your remote ignore what it says key in 1570 on your remote scroll down to emu and switch it onthen exit back to tv and key in 0511 takes you to sly sport 1 wait for it to update then job done

i do exactly what you said press menu then 1570 but the box does nothing at all and yes the batteries are brand new , ive got the starview 3 box and it does work on there but not on this starview 4 usb box , is it because its never been flashed , im not sure how to solve this problem .

first u need 2 flash ya box with the latest firmware >>>> Digital Kaos - Downloads - The Box Super USB V1.07

once u have done that then u go 2 menu 1570 turn emu on
