There is newer models coming out soon which are ment to be greatly improved.

Current ones are avg for the basic user. Out with that they are a pile o shite. Port config is garbage.

So if you need to tinker with your router buy a new one and stick shitehub in modem only mode.

I find the superhub pretty poor, I'm on my second as first died.

Firstly the wireless is very weak so I switched it off in end and now use a TP-link wireless extender connected to superhub via cable and just outputting the wireless which works fine.

The second problem I've got as I have stuff streaming around the house is the superhub slowly seems to deteriorate over couple of day to a point where eventually can't even login to its web interface and streaming around house becomes un useable though speedtest.net show that I still get download speeds around 30mb.
My solution to this was to use a plug socket timer to turn off and back on the superhub once a day at 5:30am, so far so good.

If you get one and find yourself in a similar situation a more obvious solution may be to put it into modem mode and buy a better router, but I had bits lying around so sorted with them.

I've just had a quick search and can't find anything about new superhub coming out? where did you find the info, just curious.

Hello all; I can confirm that the new superhub (superhub 2) came into commercial use on the 2nd June, my recommendation is to give customer services a ring to get a deal for it...mine is coming this Wednesday, and even if it's a glorified doorstop and burns out after a month, it'll still be 10x better than the first superhub

like any decent hardware you have to test it for yourself to decide if its for you for what you want it for and if your going for the higher speeds
you'll probably need the hub anyway on about 40-60+ i think.some people use the WiFi on it and ones that think its not enough or use multiple
devices or its causes any problems you can always set it modem mode and use a network device of preference routers,switches etc
