tapping noise from tivo box?

I have a tivo box setup in a room coming from a 3 way splitter.

In the oppisite room is a krptview box and superhub which are also connected to the 3 way splitter.

Coming from the tivo box is a slight tapping noise which goes when cable is disconnected from the splitter.

does anyone know what this noise is and how to get rid of it?

Sorted. To an extent anyway. Picked up tivo box and noise dissappears.

Put tivo box on top of a dvd box and noise has gone.

I can live with that!
