hi guys, ok this is the question,, i am subscribed to vermin i have a tivo and a sammy 3100c in bedroom, now i also have another sammy 3100c vermin dont know about, now it only gave out free views of course coz of n3 but the box is now capput so was thinking of phoning vermin telling them my sub box in bedroon has broke swap the boxes over put the kids sammy in my room and hide my box and let vermin swap the broken kids box over so they get a new box, now when they say yes the box has had it will they check the serial no on box before they change it or do they just change them out and not bother checking..cheers guys..chris...

they wont check.. theyre a bunch of monkeys, even if they DID, just feign ignorance and be all like "maybe your records are wrong"

Errr i think i read it right, you want them to swap a box not registered to your account..

Dont bother..

When i visited a service call.. first step is to check the serial number of the box thats been reported against the hand held..

Engineers cant just go around swapping boxes not assigned..

Engineers might look stupid but theyre not going to want to pay a fine for collecting the wrong box..

well that might be the case with u but the cable guy who came to install my stuff had'ant got a clue i ended up telling him wot was wot , like shady said i agree most of u cable guys r a bunch of monkeys anyway ...
