lost tv channels

Ihave been using ex1100usb,as a cable receiver in Edinburgh.I cant get any channels now--bbc1--bbc2 etc.Any ideas?Cheers.

have you checked the obvious upgrades with bt and vm are in progress and the signal maybe down.
and to add this was a pre n3 box with no fix.

have you done a rescan (they may have moved to different transponders)

download the lastest channel list for your box and update it, but bbc 1,2 has not changed freq for ages, so cant understand why they went off.....

Its something youve done or changed that knocked the channels off, but a quick re-scan or channel update will put it back to normal

Well I thought with this being a recent post he would have noticed this problem a long time sooner, never mind god loves a tryer, I heard if you tap the old boxes with a hammer a few times they actually update to N3.

Never mind, I have loads of cable eurovoxes in the loft and starviews but isnt that like 2 year out of date !!!!! never mind

Thanks for the tips lads.I have been using the box since nag3 and received fta channels until last week via vermin.I have done a rescan--still get nothing.Iam now installing an aerial for Freeview.Thanks very much for your help much appreciated.Cheers.James
