Should i downgrade or not?

Hi guys

I was currently paying around ?35 a month for 10 meg BB, XL TV with V+ box and Talk evening & weekends. i thought this was a good deal until last month until they reduced my discount offer from ?25.85 to ?22.45 with an increase of ?1 to my XL package so im now out another ?5 so im now paying ?40.... my question is....

can you receive TV channels with just the broadband & phone service if i decide to give back the v+ box? or can someone tell me a better option?

another option would be to downgrade the full package to minimum with me handing back my V+ box.

also...because im an existing customer and not tied to any contract would i be entitled to a new deal even though im not the account holder (in wifes name) or should i cancel etc...

the 1st option sounds better as there doing a promo for ?5 for the first 3 months with it rising to ?14 thereafter!

PS did any1 receive a letter if they wanted to upgrade there 10 meg BB to 20 meg for ?4? and is it worth it?

if you keep the phone as it is drop the broadband down to 2mb this will be upgraded free to 10mb soon then buy a cable reciever like what people have on here you will have all for roughly ?25 a month dont give your v box back its yours

If you decide to cancel your TV subscription, disconnect your V+ box before going ahead...you can then mod your box to receive free channels ;-)

If you dont disconnect your box then they will 'unpair' your card so you cant mod the box then...

hack the lot

just cancel the lot, clone your modem and hack the tv with a dbox, they never turn the feed off.

when you say the box is mine are you sure? and if i do cancel will it still work with the on demand stuff. recording etc... cos i was told they will take it back just like they did with the last sd box i had!!!! ive already got 1 of those special boxes its just that i dont mind giving a little to get something back but that was a kick in the teeth as to the price hike!

if the box is mine how much is it roughly for that special upgrading of the v+?

i would also like a free wireless router too or upgrade to the N router
