personally i'd say so.

because there is numerous hackers out there that can make fixes, patches etc for open source boxes, when starview, kryptview etc arent open source so you have to wait for the maufactures to release fixes etc which how long that could take is anybodys guess

yeah it does look cheap, although they are clones.

i've never used them before so cant say what they are like but also depends on how much shipping is??

Not bothered about it being a clone, my other dm500 is a clone from DVBSeller and thats fine.

Has anyone used them before? Whats shipping time like?

i went to but a tuner ?19, then went to the checkout and it was ?42 for the postage.
so ?61 for a tuner they can go and get ~~~~ed.

Did think about them too, but dimissed them as its more likely that N3 will appear than more HD channels.

That seems a bit steep, i ordered an oem 500c on friday from dreamsatshop and the total came to about ?65 with postage. (This should be a bit less now as they dropped their prices over the weekend!)

Go for an itgate mate,
They cost a bit more but the're worth it,
And they are running on n2 in Ireland at the moment.
A great piece of kit.
