Recording from Virgin Media V+ HD box

    Hi

I am looking for some sort of recorder that i can connect to my VM V+HD box for archiving tv shows. I do not want to buy one that has Freeview as i already have that option on my Tv & DVD recorder. The type of thing i was looking for was something that will record directly to a USB key or an external HDD that i could then transfer to my Pc ?

i found this on web however it is not compatible with VM box Pulse-Eight. TVonics DTR-Z500HD
but this is the sort of thing i was looking for anyone have any pointers ??

Thanks in advance for any help given

Hi Hope I am not breaking any rules but I use a honetech VHS to DVD unit. It records directly from the VM box onto a PC. I do not know if they do a HD version but if you do a web search ypo will soon find out. It is vey easy to use but does take on age. I run mine over night.
