Hello guys - this is my first post and ive already got a few questions haha!

Im looking to buy a box for my cable subscription and im abit unsure which to go for - I dont wanna get a crap one but at the same time I dont wanna spend a fortune! im from the northwest and im on Virgin media if that helps anything?

We already have one eurovox downstairs and im looking to add another upstairts ( the modem is up here ).

Im looking for one aswel that wont require me to update anything so i can just plug it in and scan for channels!

Also, is it true that you have to have your original virgin box on at all times when using one of these boxes?

hi if you already have a eurovox and are happy with it why not get another one have a look on dvbjunkie they have a good selection as for keeping your virgin box on i would as they have what they call talkback which apparantley tells virgin your linked up you can get allthe support you need on this site so dont worry if the box you buy hasnt got the firmware pre-installed on it
