Sky will only give their HD channels if forced to by Ofcom. Ofcom are currently looking into this.

hi folks, i can't find these test channels. in the wirral, what frequency are they on. done a direct scan without splitters etc and still not showing. this is driving me insane. any help would be much appreciated. cheers

The only HD channel available @ the mo... is BBC HD, the test ones are showing pron channels and BBC channels, ive had them all checked on an HD box.

It will be at the end of the month when they will be available at an extra cost, and you will need an HD box to be able to view them..

Perhaps you weren't in the original test area (ex-ntl) but they should be on all of the network now. They wont be at an extra cost, the four announced channels will be a part of the XL pack.

its still gonna be crap until they get the movie channels in hd, although national geo is a good start. will get some brains ticking as to whether to upgrade their boxes, mine included

Eurosport HD went off but there may be a deal in place.

FX HD
MTVN HD
Nat Geo HD
4HD

now.. all on my official V+ box.. happy days.. more to come
