will ntl ireland change to nagra 3 soon??

From what i hear it wont be for a while until ntl move over to nagra 3 as they are streaming on n2 currently.apparently they dont have the money to fund it. i have a eurovox ex5000pvr and have been waiting for a n2 update but i have given up hope at this stage!! So im thinking of getting a kryptview or a dreambox and maybe get 6 months or so out of it.... would like to hear anyones thoughts on this matter. Thanks

P.S which box is better and easiest to set up

in my opinion dreambox m8 6 mts might be a bit ambitious so spend wisely research 500c are reasonable good luck need any help m8 just ask

Any linux based box with an ethernet port will enable you to look at other routes around Nagra 3.

Yeah they will, Due to Irish Cable providers using only N1 or other encryptions NTL Chorus needed to upgrade to N2 to be further upgraded to N3 later this year .... As with all Software the latest version is need to upgrade ....

This is done because it would be an unfair advantage for other operators that have been using and have paid for N2 encryption over the past number of years. Irish providers are now paying the cost of not upgrading to N2 when introduced....

Expect N3 over the coming months........

On the same point, what happens to we poor Mortals with Nokia Dbox2, will we survive the Nagra 3 change? Or even with the change all we need to do is wait for a new Image to roll out?

And what is Chorus in Kildare streaming on at the momment? Nagra2? Or their not even their yet?
