Sony TV with Dragon or Diablo Cam

Have any of your guys got experience of getting the Sony TV working with these CAMS? I cannot get my TV to even recognise the Dragon CAM, I hope my TV is not faulty.

I can confirm that the T-Rex/Dragon cams do not work in these TVs. I have tried one with various flashes and all it seems to do it cause the TV to glitch, nothing wwill clear.

However, Diablo cams do work. It will work with either a card or in emu mode without a card (although no AU when in emu mode). The only problem with the diablo cam is i can't get it to clear BBC HD.

Did you try to enable only ca-id 1800 via the software editor for the T-Rex/Dragon cam's?
Beside that the ci-slot at the sony x3000, x3500 and W3000 series has an design flaw and there are problems with the majority of cam's.

That is a nice information but says not much without mention the model number of the sony.

I believe this works on any Sony model that has a internal cable tuner (v , w, x and z models)

I tried manually edited setting so only caid 1800 and nagra were enabled - still no luck. In fact, i could not even access the cam menu on the TV with the T-Rex/Dragon. BTW all my tests have been carried out on a V4000 model

A dragon should working it you enable only caid 1800 and don't try to access the cam menu.
You have to flash the cam via a other device.

I have a 40W3000 with joker 0.79 and Funcard decrypts all channels sound but picture is all scambled.

Same cam and card in my brothers 40W4000 and everything clears even BBC HD
