Best box to use from broadband

My dad has VM broadband (not tv) and is looking to split the connection to get tv. whats the best cable box to achieve this or will any do the job?

Also, apart from the splitter, box and cables to connect box to PC is any other equipment required?

Same set up as me, i got me a starview4. Had it for about a week, great box.

You can use any box. TV and broadband are live on the line even if you only have a sub for one.
