Firstly, if mods want to move this to a more approriate section, fair enough, but its general cable related.

I'm having a look at an openboxc4 clone, but as the firmware isn't written for the uk network I'm having to scan individual frequencies to pick up channels, to collate and organise them will be very long tedious process.

I've an upto date dreambox edit channel list that I'm trying to figure the best way to get into a single .xml file for use on the clone.

Any ideas??

you would have to find something to convert an already existing Cables.xml channel list which you have and convert over to what the Openbox C4 uses is it a similar file to the .abs etc... apart from recommending a Google search for the appropriate tools off the top of my head i cant think of anything

The c4 takes a .xml file, not the 'standard' openbox list, can't find a decent program to edit the c4 .xml file either.
