    Splitter help needed

I currently have a V+ box connected to a QAMTEX VQ601LC but bought a TRIS210E splitter so I could move my Virgin Media modem to the same room.
I replaced the VQ601LC with the TRIS210E but all I get is a blank or flashing ready light on the modem and a flashing ?Online? light on the V+ box.
I made sure I plugged them into the right ports at the bottom but I can?t get either to work properly.
All the cables work fine and are attached properly.

Is the TRIS210E faulty or do I need to do something else?
I thought it would a simple job of just swapping them over!

    Please help!

i think you will have to leave the quamtex in aswell, just try and add the splitter after it. so wire from the quamtex to the splitter then splitter to the modem and vbox

I tried that but it didnt work either, though the V+ box did work if you plugged it into the bottom port that the modem is suppost to go into (the modem didnt work in the TV port though).

Will I get any loss of service by having them both in as they are both isolators?

I tried the setup you suggested and the modem works but the V+ box doesn't....

Edit: I swapped over the cables and now the V+ box works and the modem doesnt.

So it seems only things plugged into the left hand side port marked '5-60 MHz 2dB, 80-1000 Mhz 10dB' work.
