    Q5 HD picture quality

    i have got a Q5 HD.. but looking at the HD quality, i dont think its 100% compared to the SAT HD pictures. has any1 else realized the picture on the Q5 HD isnt how it should be.. i have looked at the video dispaly in settings and everything is fine there its on 1080i, dont know if its me or if its the image i have on there..

    has any1 got same problem

    whats it like on 1080p or 720,cable will never equal sat quality,using a good hdmi cable?

      Cable HD should Rival Satellite HD as both are equal in terms of output the deciding factor in this is the quality of componnts used inside the receiver to display the HD picture as not all HD receivers are created equal

          HD Cable is a lower bandwidth than the Satellite equivalents, I believe that they also use the less efficient MPEG2 as well, so the quality isn't as good but most people would struggle to see the difference with equal hardware.

            Tbh the picture quality is poor when compared to that of the DM800HD-C
