you can have a combo box and work on one side or both,its your choice of what way you will go.

you can also combine both sat and cable lists to give you a set of favorites that include all the cable hd with the sat sd. The switching time between tuners is negligable (well it is on the quad plus anyway)

Hello guy`s I have a vu ultimo and was thinking of buying a cable tv tuner for the box ..Now I belive I am able to use this as a combo box once installed
Sat & cable(vermin) I have the latest appollo 13 version on this box atm , does this image support cable ? or will I have to go with BH or something similar.?

I am sure I will have more questions soon regarding the transitions , so please bear with me.

As far as I'm aware all the images support cable tuners if the box is capable of using one. If it is vix apollo you are using then autobouquets can also be used for the cable side without any messing

vix image supports cable and sat but use vix ver 14 as I had tuner issues with 13.

Dbe will be in the downloads section. Now I'm not sure how the cable lists work. By that I mean not sure if they will work in regions other than the one they were scanned in but it would be nice if you could upload this http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums....php?p=2325367 to your box using dbe and let us know if it's just the regional channels that need changed same as sat. You may need to add the cables.xml manually as dbe only upload the satellite.xml. You put both cable and sat xml in same place which if memory serves me correctly is etc/tuxbox

Oops linked to wrong channel list my bad sorry here's the combo one http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums....php?p=2325367 there are a couple of errors still in it. Namely itv 4 hd is still from sat in the hybrid entertainment so doesn't work and itv hd is missing from the vm cable entertainment. I have fixed them but lists will be uploaded once all other sats have been updated in a week or so
