was going to fit cable inline amp if there is such a thing
got slight pixelating on all channels checking all cables today but was just wondering if there was such a thing as I know there are mains operated amps.another point there is a small cable filter in line e.g. 4dB 6dB etc. do they reduce the signal what do they actually do.

solved my issues with the signal I suppose if you buy crap
of eBay you get crap bought my cable splitters of there
I have now put a good quality one in line and great signal now no pixelating.

Bought them some time ago for another sat Job but never used them until this week so cant remember just went for the cheapest at the time like an idiot replaced it with an old NTL four way splitter picture is great now, apart from my ECM'S go up to 6.013 and I get a picture freeze about every 15 mins intermittently I may have other issue's I think.

striped every thing back today had a 6db and 4db filter outside in line coming into the house on the line just before router I have a 6db filter so have put 6db filter on the splitter going to router and removed the filters from outside.
to try it.
So am I right in removing them to get a stronger signal. what would be the effect if the signal was too strong would I not get a ghosting effect or is that just with ****ogue signals.
, its not a big deal to be honest, just a bit of time and testing etc, that's all.
