CABLE EPG HOW TO INSTALL AND HOW MANY CHANNELS.

Hi all just gone onto cable from sat using both on my giga blue hd quad is the EPG for cable installed differently as all I am getting is a couple of channels on my cable EPG.
Also can anyone tell me if you should get the full channel list as I am getting 495 channels.

On cross epg click to update latest rytec, then select virmin from the xmltv providers

Thanks like an idiot I never updated rytec on my new image so of course VM never showed up still messing up somewhere as I have just read VM has 998 channels including radio I Scan and only get 495!

i set up with abm so didnt have a clue how many channels there where, but i have just done a scan so i can find the f1 hd and the 2 other sports in hd and i have got 569 channels

That's about the correct number. If you scan with abm you will receive about 400 as it only uses the ones for the region you have selected

the list I looked at included all areas so that's why their figure is so high so my scan is about correct.
