Help with signal

Hi all. New to cable, in fact I only got it going last week.
All was going great on my solo2 with sundtek usb tuner until today, when I started getting very slight pixelation every 10 or so seconds. It is only slight and I'm guessing it wouldn't take much to get the signal better.
My splitter is only a cheap ebay one, so would a better splitter make a difference and if so could you recommend one for me?
Maybe also a better quality coax, as this one was part of a kit off ebay and probably not best quality.
Possibly even a signal booster?
Could I get it a bit better by changing any of these?

M8 spent days trying to find out what was wrong with my signal only to find out the splitters I bought from eBay was causing all my problems if your neighbour is not on cable but has a box outside use his splitter obviously you only get what you pay for try here for some advice on splitters.

Thanks mate. My router is next to my box so have split the cable by the tv unit.
did you get a new splitter?

yes m8 used an old NTL splitter I had for a few years and it cured my glitching threw the ones I got of eBay every one a load of crap.
wont buy cheap again. next night the puppy chewed up my cable and signal went again, but up and running fine now.
Do what I do whilst walking the dog any deserted empty house I use their splitters.

there going to be knocked down anyway for a new development.

I have this on one of my boxes you can get cheaper that will work but you only get what you pay for as I have learnt. or go to their used section and get second hand they work.
