ESPN - The new home of Boxing maybe?

    Thoughts on this anyone?
So many of the top fights setanta covered when sky didnt want to know like Pacquaio-Marquez, Pavlik-Hopkins, Calzaghe-Jones, Cotto-Margarito. I hope espn now take the reins.
Maybe the return of Bunceys hour also.

Probably Not ! Most big fight nights broadcasted out of America come from Showtime Networks or HBO Pay Per View Events, ESPN are in direct competition with these broadcasters.

With British Boxing its normaly hosted by Frank Warren and Sports Network and televised by Sky Sports or on most occasion shown on Sky Box Office..

When Setanta Sport were opperating they covered the cost of hosting or rebroadcasting by payed there Americian broadcasters Showtime / HBO to cover and rebroadcast the fights for the UK market....

ESPN do cover some Boxing across America and Canada but it like boxing shown on Eurosport (not worth watching )....

UFC is to be shown on ESPN so at least thats something ....
