Possible Vir*** changeover to you know what

I have been researching a fault that has been happening for some time on my Eurovox max v with signal drop off every now and again, this happens on all frequencies. Done and tried the lot, even thought that its Vir**n messing about themselfs for the past year. I found a comment by a techkie on the Vir*** Forum that said tests are being carried out and it will hit soon to all, I found a document online regarding service delivery for third party suppliers on deployment of a new system and I also found a reply from a techkie over in the philipines who may work for them, the question? Why does the signal drop from 84% - 0%? answer:
To my understanding, this is a result of the move of most cable

/satellite provider to Nagra 3 conditional access modules (CAM) systems

which started March 22, 2009. The HD & Premium channels would all have moved by April while the rest before the end of this year. This is an ongoing encryption schemes improvement on most of this systems such as Dish Network in USA, UPC in Ireland, Virgin Media in UK and Dream Satellite in my country (Philippines).

To my knowledge, most if not all of the old receivers will not receive the new encrypted signals; EUROVOX, STARVIEW, REPLAY LITE and some others until the firmware/encryption has been applied to the receiver box (if capable). There are no keys (yet). The only rumored receiver box with a fix as of this moment is KRYPTVIEW.

Based on this, perhaps your best move would be to consult with your cable/satellite provider and discuss your options.

Some food for thought and lets hope its not going to happen soon. I am not spreading rumors just trying to keep you informed as I have not found any other explanation of my fault anywhere and I know it not a fault with the signal in as this sometimes works perfect.

Although this chap could be only speculating on what has happened in Ireland could happen here as well, like I say I have not found any solution to my signal problem, and I suspect many others on this forum suffers with this problem. The other possible reason is Vir**n are testing a new system and the eurovox max v can pick it up. My sub box has been flashing for months now with no On Demand so something is going on and I suspect it will happen when analogue is switched off at the end of the month. How much for HD box with Vir**n.

Poo. Normal subscribers will need new cards for new encryptions so untill I get a card in for my subbed box I'll keep on enjoying what I have.
