What is this about?? And why should I mail anyone?? And where was it originally posted Eamo?

Found this thread http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f71/fraud-48058/ if its to do with that, I didn't even reply in the thread. One way or the other it was posted by a member here, but that's it end of.

There will be no "righting a wrong" as far as Digital Kaos is concerned its a matter between customer and supplier. Sort it out between yourselves.

Sorry for upsetting you Satsmo, but I beg to differ. If member goes on open
forum it's between us all. Any dodgy supplier should(within the law) be
named to warn members. Any allegation found to be untrue should be
withdrawn & acknowledged.
D.K. sponsors would not be pleased if cable closet or any other forum
allowed members to publicly criticise their operations, security, or name
These are only my opinions Satsmo, but you as moderator are judge and
jury on such issues. Any member at issue with your ruling can then choose to visit this forum or not.
Trawling thru several forums some even edit posts which name names for whatever reason.
This (D.K.) is the best english language cable forum, bar none.
Most comp. & up to date fixes, knowledgable & helpful volunteers,
I have yet to see a query on any issue that you are not fully conversant
with. I also feel if any topic was beyond your remit you would say so &
ask for help of Paul or other members.
I will be away until 7pm, I will PM you then to clear up any misunderstandings.

I do not think the topic is "beyond my remit". However I do think that the issue is between the customer and supplier.

Digital Kaos is a forum and is not bound by what is posted by a member unless it is outside of the forum rules where it will then be moderated.

If the member that made the claim has done so in an unjustified manner then they should post here saying so as I have closed the original thread.

Thats where it ends as said we are not here to deal with issues relating to a supplier and what our members did was offer advice on the matter. The advice been it was his security more than likely at issue.

If SKYWONDER are deemed to be wrongly tainted by allegations on here
the wrong could be righted.
For say 1 week any post "where to buy box" answered thus;

That quote in itself will not happen here, if a member feels a supplier offers a good service then they will recommend them and only for that reason.

No need for a pm Eamo as this issue is already dealt with.

@EAMO 2, We have no interest in the dealings between you and your customers and this forum is not a place for customer service.. A member has posted and maybe improperly alleged that he has some card problems stemming from dealings with a site/company that you possibly have affiliation with. He may just have a PC that is unsecure etc either way it is not a Digital Kaos issue. He should deal with his bank who in turn will make their own investigations and recommendations.

You state above that an intensive investigation has been out on this matter.. I trust you have contacted your customer directly to resolve this issue... I guess if he was satisifed you could ask him to post that his matter is resolved.. You have not said what you have found and we are tbh not really interested as it has nothing to do with Digital Kaos.. Forum sponsors can be critised elsewhere or here if people have issues with them as they already aware..

All I wanted was the issue to be dealt with & put to bed.
Rightly or wrongly I never read forum rules, but try to use a bit of s a v v y
& common sense, and err on the side of caution.
Just to clarify; I am active member of D.K. & enjoy the involvement as I
feel cbl. prov's charge way over the top for what's on offer & help if I feel I
have something worthwhile to contribute to discussions on forums.
I would say I learn more than I input to issues.
I buy from supplier, but I have no other connection with them, and as far
as I am aware they do not have a branch in Ireland.
Am a member of several forums & would challenge anyone who has the time & interest to go thru my posts . I doubt I have ever promoted any supplier on any forum. I have on occasion praised or criticised
diff. boxes and manufactures .
Any comments I make are strictly mine & represent no one but me.

i stand by what i said, bought box from skywonder with credit card which then had fraud commited on it while credit card was cancelled and awaiting new card again bought another box off skywonder with bank card,i never used this card on no other site and only the once.but alast again had fraud commited on this card as well have since recieved new credit card and used it on other sites with no problem.im just saying it all looks a bit dodgy and will not deal with skywonder again.
