    recomendations for a new box with pvr

    hello folks

    not been on here for a while,
    i have the eurovox ex5000 pvr.
    everything works fine, but needs to be turned on and off every other day.
    i have had it for about 10 months and not had to flash, occasionally i have to do a fast install
    is all this the norm for this box.
    i am after a second box with pvr can anyone recomend a good make
    thanks for advise

    hi m8 weak sig can cause this ,Digital Kaos - Downloads - UFL_EX5000PVR_24-02-09_DarX have you the latest filmware on it ,all are good dreambox , kryptview ,starview take your time choosing read up on your box first good luck

      I've been looking at the DM600C PVR. As at the moment I'm borrowing someones Digivox. But at the sake of avoiding the clones and spending ?220 I think I may have to sit tight for a bit.

      Unless if I can find an authentic box for less.

            do you think the eurovox 5100 is better than the ex5000 that i have

              Wouldn't know the full tech, but as the 5100 was released to combat the clones of the 5000. Then I can't see any advantage. But hey take what I say with a pinch of salt as I'm still finding my feet in some respect.
