Looking for good little runner with option to use both tuners sat & cable

Hi all I am looking for a cheap little box with the option of changing tuners if needed from sat to cable or vice versa for my daughters room don't need all dancing and singing just Linux if possible and hd output but not weak tuners as I have heard some do.
would like some input heard about some boxes for about ?50 but will pay more if needed just don't want a door stop after a few months like the old starview.

    APPRECIATE YOUR IMPUT THANKS.

Amiko Mini HD Combo would do you. Dual tuner cable & sat. Get one for around ?60 - 70. I own one and they are fine.

Do you find glitching on the cable tuner especially on hd channels?

I'm thinking of upgrading my Lexuzbox F90 cable receiver for something that doesn't take forever to populate the EPG!

How good is the EPG on the sat & cable side of this box?

Can you record from sat while watching cable (& vice versa)?

No don't experience any glitching with mine. EPG is very basic just now and next really similar to a Skybox F3. Not sure about recording either. You'd need some sort of USB drive attached for starters but whether you can record sat while watching cable I don't know.
