Venton Unibox Eco+ Enigma 2 Twin Tuner Advice

Hi all,

Spent ages reading forums and would be great if someone could to few things up please:

1) Getting Venton Unibox Eco+ Enigma 2 Twin Tuner bos with 2 cable tuners - this allows me to watch and record correct?
2) Would I need multisub for this or just broadband connection/wire into each tuner?
3) Currently have tv basic package and bb plus tele , do i need to keep the tv active in order to use the box or can i cancel it as will still have BB line ?
4) In terms of security is it best to leave the current Tivo box connected but in standby and then use the new Venton Unibox Eco+ so its safer ? or does this not matter ?

Just want to know best way to setup to make sure im not making novice mistakes
