Any ideas on how to get my cable activated in my bedroom I'm with vermin with a box downstairs that vermin activated, but I.use my q5 and want my TiVo in the bedroom without paying vermin to come back and activate the bedroom and charging me 6.50 a month extra for another box I.don't need.

Do you already have a cable feed in the bedroom?
If not, all you need to do is use a 2 way splitter to split the feed before it goes into the downstairs box & run a lead upstairs from the other output of the splitter. -
if you want to use a TiVo in your bedroom you will have to pay to activate the box as you need the card in the slot that virgin provide.
why not just get another box e.g. enigma 2 and split the feed as Hadron has said.Education is not the learning of facts, But the training of the mind to think
