Personally I prefer the eurovox better menus and easier use have heard some unsettling things about stv 4.

for reliability and you get the extra features that way. The starview 4's are v. unreliable. There is of course another PVR called the Eurovox EX5100 PVR, but that itself has HDD problems. The HD Eurovox does seem to be good now if you want that. I used to also say Kryptviews are the best before they screwed their sensors up, and all current receivers handle nagra 2, so I always recommend the EX1000SL now
