    Hi i will say this is copied information but thought it might be helpful

    Keep up-to-date on the latest news on Setanta Sports UK fall out and upcoming channel launches and other important events across all platforms of Virgin TV network.

    NOTE: I do not work for Virgin Media so all the information on this list is subject to change.

    === The latest Setanta Sports UK fall-out news ===
    === Setanta Sports UK fall-out: Channel news ===
    ESPN has now launch on Virgin TV FREE to XL viewers as well as ?8 per month to M & L viewers who got Sky Sports in or ?10 per month as an standalone channel.
    ESPN will be FREE to everyone in August.
    Racing UK is now an standalone channel, price at ?20 per month, Arsenal has now closedown their TV channel but it may relaunch at an later date.
    LFC TV is currently broadcasting as normal and will continue to do so until further notice. However, following the announcement that Setanta GB is no longer trading, there may be some disruption to our service for UK television viewers.
    Media Boy EXCLUSIVE: I have been told that LFC TV do not need an new deal to carry on broadcast on Virgin TV and will be on XL Pack until Summer 2010 unless they Closed or Virgin sign an new deal with them.

    === Setanta Sports UK fall-out: Rights resold deals ===
    Eurosport has got the rights to: Superleague Formula, GP2, Golden League of Athletics, UGA Golf.
    Sky Sports has got the rights to: 30 SPL games, The FA Community Shield, The FA Women's Cup Final, FIA GT (Highlights only).
    Sky Box Office Sports has got the rights to: David Haye fights.
    ESPN has got the rights to: 30 SPL games, 46 EPL games, Boxing, Serie A football, Coppa Italia, International Rugby (With New Zealand, France and Australia.), UFC (including UFC 101), French Rugby Championship, Australian Football League (AFL), DTM Masters, FIBA European Basketball Championships, US Major League Soccer, German Bundesliga, Portuguese Liga, The Dutch Eredivisie, The Russian Premier League and The Italian Super Cup.
    ITV1 has got the rights to: England home friendlies, England World Cup qualifiers - Away. (Will not be shown in STV areas.)

    === Setanta Sports UK fall-out: Deals still on offer to Broadcasters - I do not follow Cricket, Boxing, Rugby & Motorsport (If you got any news post on this page or PM me) ===
    The Blue Square Premier League is rumoured to be in talks with Eurosport, Bravo and ESPN.
    Cricket: The Indian Premier League.
    Darts: The league of legends.
    Football: French League and the FA Cup.
    Boxing: Has an agreement with Top Rank to show likes of Cotto, Pavlik and Pacquiao.
    Rugby: The Magners League and, from the 2010-2011 season, Setanta was due to show Guinness Premiership matches.

    1st. Virgin Media will today Switch Off Analogue Cable in the following areas: Aztec West (Bristol), Cardiff, Edinburgh, Gateshead, Exeter, Preston (North West) and Portsmouth (Solent/Cosham).
    Virgin Media Television will launch Living HD on Virgin TV sometime this month on Virgin Channel 110.

    === October ===
    1st. Virgin Media will today Switch Off Analogue Cable in the following areas: Basildon, Birmingham/Small Heath, Grimsby, Hemel Hempstead, Norwich, South London/Croydon, Sussex (Brighton), Thames valley (Reading) and Warwick.
    1st. Virgin Media to put prices up by ?1.50 extra per month - only if you got Sky Sports, Sky Movies or both in with your Package.
    Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Channel +1 are rumoured to be set to rebranded as Universal Channel and Universal Channel +1 Virgin Channels 162 and 163.

    === November ===
    2nd. Virgin Media will today Switch Off Analogue Cable in the following areas: Belfast, Haringey, Camden, Enfield, Hackney & Islington, Stafford, Lichfield & Tamworth, Teesside (Stockton, Darlington & Middlesbrough), Uddingston, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sandwell, Telford, Kidderminster, Redditch, Wessex (Poole & Bournemouth).

    -Virgin Media are rumoured to be in talks with ITV with an of carrying ITV1 HD and maybe even ITV2, ITV3 and ITV4's +1 hour channels.
    -Media Boy EXCLUSIVE: An executive of ViewAsia talks to Media Boy - Sony are in talks with Virgin about carrying more Asian TV channels on their platform to build the View Asia package but it depends on space available on Virgin. ''ViewAsia pack'' is price at ?17.99 per month.
    -Digital Spy says Wedding TV and Investigation Discovery will launch on Virgin TV.
    -Virgin Media are to move some channels about on their EPG Channel lineup.
    -Media Boy EXCLUSIVE: UKTV has told me that Eden +1 and Yesterday +1 will relaunch on Virgin TV ''later in the year''.
    -Media Boy EXCLUSIVE: AETN UK are in active discussions with Virgin Media in relation to both Military History and History HD joining the network.

    -Media Boy EXCLUSIVE: A&E has told me that they are in talks with Virgin Media with the view of carrying their History HD Channel.
    -Virgin Media are in talks with ITV with an of carrying ITV1 HD.
    -Virgin Media hope to have 20-30 HD channels on air by July 2010.
    Note: If say Discovery HD appear on Virgin TV that does not mean that all the missing SD Channels will not appear as well as Virgin Media are signing two deal with that broadcast - one for SD Channels and an other for HD Channels.

    === Rumoured/Hope/No news in months ===
    -Virgin Media are rumoured to be set sell all of their ''Virgin Media Television'' as well as 50% of ''UKTV'' channels off to other Broadcasters.
    -In summer of 2008 The chief executive of STV Group, outlined plans for a "Scottish Gold" TV channel, in partnership with the BBC.
    -Five are also in the advanced stages of plans to roll out its Kids show Milkshake making it into an TV Channel.
    -Virgin Media are rumoured to be in talks with the following broadcasters: NBC Universal (For KidsCo) and Five (For Five on Demand).

    Q: WHY AM I NOT GETTING ''CHANNEL Z'' FOR?
    A: Some channels are only in some areas - Magic Radio is only in Ex-ntl and Ex-Cable & Wireless areas but Ex-Telewest area have got BBC Radio 4 LW.
