i believe there are 2 sections on that and it sounds as you might have put it into the sat side? sure others will add more.

It does go in the same folder as the sat.xml the problem you may or may not be running into is that the solo 2 images are designed for sat only as they have no fixed cable or plug and play slots. Not sure it would make any difference though as i can swap between cable and sat tuners in my uno without reflashing the image. Try one of my combo e2 lists, you will have to add the cable.xml manually as dbe doesn't add it. You will find it in the dreambox bouquets section. Is not the correct area for you but you should pick up something with it. Try the regional bouquet for your fta bbc or itv. Just go through them and see if one works. It may not as the list is from a pure area.
Here you go it will save you looking
Have a try of these if you have a combo linux box I have used my normal E2 uk and 4 sat euro but added cable to the list with some new favorites that are a bit of hybrid set with channels from both sat and cable in the same favorite. Obvious example is the hybrid movies favorite which has all the sd movies from sat with the hdComment

Having been using the OpenATV image for the last couple of months i have found it to be one of the most pleasant and easy to use images so far, No green screens and does exactly what it says on the tin.
I have tried most of the other OE alliance images and this wipes the floor with the lot, it also has Satellite/Cable autobouquets installed and should detect your external tuner. Works fantastically well on my Quad+ machine

Most of the images now have the SKY DVB t330 driver included. Mine scanned all the channels in ok.Sent from my crystal box, using my cat's whisker.Comment

The open atv image for quad has the cable.xml pre installed. If you install it check and make sure external tuner is active then scan provider and choose vermin (6952) this will pick up whatever out there if tuner is configured correctly.Comment

I meant to different cable feeds at 2 different locations still can't get any channels have ordered a combo receiver should have it in a few days can rule out if the usb tuner is faulty then but it does find terrestrial channels on the t tuner it just won't find any channels on the cableComment

maybe the usb is a t tuner and not a c tuner? packed wrong?

ahh yes googled all in one,i see there is a kernal warning.
" NOTE TO ENIGMA2 USERS: THE LATEST KERNEL VERSION ON VU+ RECEIVERS IS NOT CURRENTLY FULLY SUPPORTED. USERS OF THESE RECEIVERS SHOULD USE AN E2 IMAGE WITH PREVIOUS KERNEL VERSION WHILE AN UPDATED DRIVER IS WORKED ON BY DVBSKY. "Last edited by cactikid; 11 December, 2014, 00:16.Comment
