Sky warned Irish Cable Companys to deal with piracy immediatly !

No ! there never going to take over Nagravision , they will force them out of cable companys that broadcast Sky Channels.....

Sky / NDS do not want Nagravision been used to encrypt there channels on cable...its as simple as that...

Look at it this way Rupert Murdoch owner of Sky /Fox & NDS encryption payed for N2 to be hacked (YES) across the whole of world the only two countrys that carry Sky on cable were open and freely hacked were the british and Irish cable companys because they used Nagravision ........... had they been using NDS as the satellite provider uses Sky would not have been open on cable for the past Ten years.... (Murdoch bit himself on the ass pulling this stunt across britian and Ireland and it cost them lots)

Sky understand that they reach more households on a cable network than they do on satellite ! but if cable is hacked a large number of the population use Hacked receivers to view there content !

Sky over the next year or two will launch there cable platform, what will happen to the present cable companys (who Knows ) but they are defently going to be forced to use an encryption that can not be easly be hacked ... if there are any signes of N3 been opened Sky I am sure will pull the plug on Cable Providers untill the adopt NDS..... there are not going to allow there channels to be opened for the next 5-7 years on cable if N3 crumbles....

well if your so sure he done it, we should gather evidence and sue him for making our entertainment too expensive by forcing us to use his network - industrial espionage , monopaly what ever we should call it.

did i mention someone getting 5 million doller fine in the usa of this. he wont go to jail but well get some cash

Yes we are truly F***ed in Ireland.

People will say dont be so negitive, but N3 really is a whole new ball game compared to the old N1 Keyroll method changes every so often(which were childsplay in comparison).

And N2 hacked by a Smartcard Mastermind, who got stung for it, so that wont be happening again.

Whats the problem? who cares its only tv with crappy programming repeated week after week, football get that on sat! some way or another. Sky are killing themself's anyway, money into sports clubs yeh to build bigger grounds but not grass roots, the poor cannot afford so don't watch therefore don't get involved to become the next ronaldo, big issue at the mo with the cricket,clubs don't have any youngsters comming into the game. It can only last for so long, take football off sky what have they got? Nothing!

Well said alun, post of the month. RTE nad RTE networks should be ashamed of themselfes. Even there own 4 digital terrestrial tv channels are on mpeg 4 streams which means that all the tellies bought with freeview built in dont work. The mpeg 4 stream is great all channels are HD but why not a dual stream. RTE SD and RTE HD.

All anyone has to do is google the name Christopher Tarnovsky once a payed employee of NDS who its clamed Hacked Nagravision 2 on behalf of NDS / Rupert Murdoch in order to cause Panic between all the cable and satellite providers useing N2 hoping that they would switch encryption to NDS ! among some that did were German Satellite provider Premiere / Sky Germany & D+ ....
