hi, not been here in a while,im after a new box,not had one since starview hd combo,is there a reliable hd box or even one thats supports 3d?

Yes there is either a gigablue quad there around ?250 they come with satellite tuner and a cable one can be added for cable to receive 3d channel as sly 3d is not on anymore due to the hd encryption issued by sly TV other boxes do receive the 3d channel like skybox f5 amiko or vu receivers but like I say not available on sly anymore with these boxes on available on the cable side of it won't go into details as this would be breaking the forum rules hope this helps -
the blade 8000 combo has just been released at a cost of around ?120, i have the blade 7000 combo and has great quality picture on sat and cable and is easy to enter the 'you know what' into the menu,it says on the blade website that the new 8000 has a sat and terrestrial tuners, i sent an e-mail to somebody on fleebay who is selling the 8000 and he replied saying that the 8000 did have a sat and cable tuner BUT it probably needs to be checked into further,if indeed the 8000 has a sat and cable tuner and is the same quality picture of the blade 7000 combo i have i can highly recommend the 8000 to you, if the new blade 8000 combo does have a sat and cable tuner i will definitly be getting one for another room -: Blade MediaComment
